Council to consider 715 Mosby Street
09/26/2010 8:15 AM by John M
The agenda for the Monday, September 27 City Council meeting has this:
Ord. No. 2010-128 (Patron: Mayor Jones, By Request) – To authorize the special use of *** 715 Mosby Street for the purpose of constructing a mixed-use building with up to three (3) units for commercial uses and two (2) units for dwelling uses ***.
Go for it Dennis! You guys have worked dilligently with the neighborhood and city counsel, and addressed all thier concerns about the project.
How is all this stuff going to fit on one lot?
BTW, what is being built at Borad and 21st? Looks big and I’ve heard nothing about it.
@Bullwinkie: posts about the development at Broad and 21st
@john_m – that looks like the development by McDonald’s. What about the one further up the hill at the corner of 21st and Broad across from the church? Is that more of the same?
neighbor #4, it’s the second article down when you click his link. The first one is the thing at McDonald’s, just scroll down to the second one. It’s labeled something like 2001 East Broad goes before planning (or council).
And yes, it is more of the same, if you mean very tall with lots of apartments. So is the one at 21st and Main that incorporates the fire station there.
t’anks.
At the Council yesterday, it was decided to continue this request for a special use permit until Oct. 11th, based on some of the changes that have been made to the plan.
I guess I should clarify that Cynthia Newbille asked for this continuance, and I am Cynthia Oliver reporting this.
