This property is in imminent anger of demolition. The Alliance seeks a buyer asap! The circa 1910 Colonial Revival row house is located in the Church Hill North State and National Historic District and the Church Hill North City Old and Historic District– making it eligible for state and federal historic rehabilitation tax credits. It does look like an ‘anger’y house.
fixed, thanks!
The good news is that the demolition permit has not been applied for on the property. However, the City did post a recent violation notice on the property stating that the property needed to be brought into compliance by the end of October. Now that we are in November, demolition is really a threat.
I’m happy to see that ACORN is stepping in to take a more active role in saving the house. I’d rather see this house restored than a new vacant lot spring up.
Tear it down!
