New owners seek community support for new restaurant on 25th Street

The new owners of the old Que Pasa space are seeking community support for an SUP to be able to re-open the restaurant space and have an apartment upstairs:
We are hoping to gain community support for getting our Special Use Permit. I was hoping that any Church Hill/ Union Hill residents who have the time would write me a letter of support. Please include your name and address. These letters can be sent to me at kendrafeather@gmail.com.
I’ll work on something tonight and send it in. As someone who lives just down the street, I can’t tell you how much we need a new restaurant in that space!
I remember asking about an SUP at the Union Hill Civic Assoc meeting and recall someone saying it wasn’t necessary. What changed? The apartment above?
I, too, will write a letter of support tonight. I’m SO EXCITED for this new restaurant. Kendra Feather’s other restaurants (Ipanema and Garnett’s) are awesome; I’m sure we can expect the same level of quality in Church Hill.
Absolutely looking forward to writing a letter myself! Looking even more forward to visting the new place once it opens! What a great addition to the neighborhood this will be.

Hooray for new (and awesome) businesses coming to our neighborhood! My husband and I live a block away, and used to have a weekly Que Pasa date with neighbors….would love to reinstate that tradition! Will write a letter this week and encourage neighbors to do the same.
