HI… I have an old Home comfort stove and the grates, the ones that are on the side on the inside are moving?? … One of them fell down into the ash pan. Are they supposed to move? I have no Idea when the stove was made, and this we havent had it very long. It works great however the grates that holds the wood are sort of broken as well. Does anyone know where to get replacement parts? Or how to fix it?
Thanks.

I am looking for one of these stoves. I Live in the northeast corner of Tennessee.
Why would anyone get rid of such a great cooking appliance? People are going back to these (back to basics) rather than getting rid of them. And it adds charm to a historic home. I would but no space for it (small kitchen) but have eaten off similar at a West Virginia relative’s house! Keeps the kitchen toasty warm too in the winter.
Looking for a new top for our 1921 Home Comfort wood cook stove. I live in Western NC.
