The agenda for Monday’s City Council meeting (PDF) has an item of local interest:
Ord. No. 2011-10 (Patron: Mayor Jones, By Request) – To conditionally rezone *** 7 North 25th Street from the *** M-1 Light Industrial District to the B-5 Central Business District ***.
Is this to rezone a single property (7 N. 25th) – or is 7 N 25 an area / neighborhood?”

It’s a proposal to change the property’s zoning. Check the link and click the “planning” tab.
believe it is single property, the last building on the left as you head south on 25th before getting to main st.
Anyone with an idea what this is about? Something about a mayor asking for a rezoning makes mewonder what the angle is.
