Buffington & Wine’s now offers delivery

What exactly are their boundaries? Any word? As someone who lives at Cedar, no one delivers this far north except for Papa’s (which is way out of my price range and I’ve never gotten great phone service) and now this.

It is really getting annoying. (inserting huffing,puffing and foot stomping here)

What do you mean Papa’s doesn’t have good phone service? Every time I order from them I get great service on the phone and from the delivery driver. They might be a little pricier than most places but I think the quality of the food is much better. I tried Buffington’s and wasn’t all that impressed. It wasn’t bad but (and I’ll quote my roommate) “It’s like DeGinoro’s!”

I’ve always gotten someone on the phone at Papa’s that is short and kind of rude. I was asking questions because I couldn’t find my menu and they were clearly irritated and I had to repeat myself multiple times because he was trying to hold a conversation with me at the same time as some one in the restaurant, without asking me to hold on.

And it really wasn’t much better when I went in to pick-up on a different occasion.

I could understand maybe one time, but twice becomes a habit, IMO.

I didn’t really care for Buffington’s either. Seemed a little like Bottom’s Up, but not quite there yet.

I had no idea Piccolo’s delivers!!! Now THAT is good pizza!

Tarrants delivers to much of Church Hill. Just an FYI to those who think the selection is small for pizza delivery. Tarrants is by far the best pizza delivery on this side of town. I actually think I am starting to like them better than Aziza’s. Another big plus: Tarrants will deliver growlers of craft beer with your pizza!
I did enjoy Buffington and Wine’s Pizza, but it was a bit too heavy for me. Sill decent.

Thanks for the updated menu Frank. Veggie dogs too??? Pretty cool. Looks like they are aiming to please & thinking of everyone’s wants.

I was huffing and puffing that MORE restaurants don’t deliver to my home in Church Hill. I was referring to a variety of restaurants…in that, the only thing I can get is Pizza or Chinese from Nine Mile Road.

I had not made mention of either liking or disliking either Papa’s or Buffington’s until the second post. You’ve misread, because actually both of those places DO deliver to my home. And my complaint with Papa’s was the service, not the food.

Sounds more to me like YOU are just trying to start a fight.

I have had Buffington’s “Paul Bunyon” (I think that is what it is called.) twice. Excellent both times. Loved the thick crust.
