RVA BBQ Crawl coming to Alamo, Ronnie’s
06/28/2011 8:06 AM by John M
The 1st Annual Richmond BBQ Crawl will visit 5 local BBQ joints on Saturday July 9, including local favorites Alamo and Ronnie’s.
That sounds like a good time but $50 is a bit expensive in my opinion.
Holy typos, Batman. No one proofs those emails?
$50 is a bit high.
50$ is a BARGAIN. What a great idea/event!!!
Come on people!
Don’t get me wrong, the idea is fantastic.
Wait, you get 5 bbq meals and lecture/instruction about BBQ from a chef? $50 is not too steep people. May not be how you choose to spend $50, but I know folks who easily spend that on a night out at one restaurant- a $20 entree, appetizer or desert, a glass of wine, tax & tip will set you back $50.
for $50 bucks the beer should be included.
Not to mention, some of that money is surely going to pay for the bus. I rent a bus every year to take my students to KD and that alone set me back $710 dollars and that was the cheapest quote.
$50 doesn’t seem bad at all.
Fifty dollars doesn’t sound like too much for transportation, food from five barbeque restaurants AND instruction, but who in the world could eat that much food and still be awake to talk about it?!
Or walk afterwards!
My comment is based on similar events I’ve been to where you get a tasting not a meal. I can’t eat five BBQ meals. I’d rather a lower price and reasonable portions.
