Alamo BBQ will be at Hogtober

A message from Aimee Perron Seibert, President of the Church Hill Association:
We are pleased to announce that after further conversations between CHA, Style, the Hogtober underwriter and Alamo, they will now be a food vendor at Hogtober.
::applause:: Well done, Aimee!!
Good Move!
Fantastic!
It’s sad that it wasn’t caught before but better late than never. Nice save.
Any chance Ronnie’s gets an invite too? They don’t do as much for the community here as Alamo so it’s less glaring but they are located within 100 yards. I don’t think folks will be upset with more variety rather than only having a couple vendors.
Most excellent! See, doing the “right thing” isn’t so hard after all… I really do appreciate that CHA (and partners) realized that there was indeed an oversight/mistake/problem and has made an attempt to rectify the matter. Now, please get your graphic designer on the ball and add the Alamo logo to the posters and website, or is that asking too much : )
Aimee is doing a great job over at CHA, in my opinion. I’m so glad this was worked out successfully.
I’ll be sure to buy an extra beer as a thanks to the sponsors!
Awesome.
Ronnie should be there for sure also!!!
I still can’t believe CHA didn’t realize this mistake on their own but like others said, better late than never. I am very excited to see the inclusion of Alamo to the list!
Thanks to everyone who pointed this mistake out to CHA!
IMHO, I think we should give CHA some slack. Being their first year involved with this, I believe it was an honest oversight. And once it was brought to their attention, they made it right. Ya know, I don’t think the Irish festival got it 100 percent right their first year.
Glad they got this sorted out.
But I eat at Alamo regularly so I probably won’t get their food here unless they offer something new.
I would recommend that the barbecue vendors offer sampler plates or something so people can try lots of stuff from all of them. There could even be a vote on who is the best to encourage people to try each.
On the topic of Alamo, I tried the Philly Brisket last night for the first time. I already loved Alamo but now am officially addicted. The perfect marriage of the best of a Philly cheesesteak and BBQ. Pure happiness now comes on a toasted bun…
