Please come join us on Saturday October 15th for our Third Annual Camp Out to Get Out. All you need is a tent, sleeping bag, a cozy sweatshirt, and all your friends and family. We will provide you with natural beauty, activities, live music, football, hamburgers, smores, drinks, and lots of fun.

Join us and the local residents and kids this week planting flowers to beautify RVA! Bring study shoes, gloves, a small shovel (trowel) & a large shovel, hoe, or pick ax if you have them. Worm composting workshop

Learn how to compost with worms with Tricycle Gardens and Green Unity. Worm composting is great for small spaces indoors, as it gives off little to no odor. Perfect for dorm and apartment dwellers with no access to a yard. Participants will take home their own worm composting kit, so they can try it at home!

Rocketts Landing Run the the River- Challenging 10k Urban Cross-Country

Run to the River is a unique and challenging 10k race. You will tackle three hills, dash through historic neighborhoods, and race along the banks of the James River. The course goes through Fulton, across Gillies Creek Park, up Libby hill by way of a stair set and cobblestone paths, through church hill to a trail along the James River, up another grueling stair set, through Rocketts Landing, then up the steep Powhatan hill where at the summit you face another 2 kilometers of running through historic Fulton before you reach the finish line.
