This is an old post I am piggybacking on.
Yesterday, 413 N 27th was again on the Trustee Sale block. It has been on it several times when the owner was alive and after she died. At one point, it had several liens that totalled about have the value of the property, which most may be still attached. The house was also never fully restored after the 2012 fire.
It is too early for the court to record a new owner yet, was wondering if anyone knows if this house was sold and who may have purchased it?
We don’t want it to simply sit unoccupied for years only to rot away.
Thanks
That should have been several liens that total about half the value of the property. I know of one through the contractor who was not allowed to finish the repairs and went to court – a mechanics lien for $55,400 attached to this property. We were told at one time, there may have been at least 11 different liens attached.
I was told by the foreclosure handler that it did sell for $215,000. The contractor who restored the other half of the double said it will take another $150,000 to bring it up to the same level of construction. And, not even sure about the liens that were attached.
At least it sold and now hoping CAR plans are submitted and work will begin soon. I am in contact with the city to find out the new owner’s name.
Looks like a group called Integral Properties LLC purchased it. They are working inside (no permits yet) but did tell me that all liens have been cleared.
Has anyone heard of this group?
.
More research and discovered this company is owned by William Haver since 2013.
His son, Doug Haver (formerly? of Home Choice Realty) is the one working on the house. He has a background of flipping houses.
