Man not shot in Fairfield Court

Richmond police were investigating an armed assault today that injured a man in the Fairfield Court public-housing project.The assault was reported at 1:09 p.m. at an apartment in the 2100 block of Fairfield Avenue, and initial calls were that a man had been shot in the head. The first officers on the scene said the victim was conscious, and it turned out he had been struck in the head with a rifle.
I think that is the first time someone was not shot in Fairfield Court. Wow. Their standards are slipping….
Oh just hit in the head with a rifle… um!
