Alamo BBQ is now hiring for all positions.
-Line cooks
-Cashiers
-Prep and DishwashersApplicants must be reliable and have previous restaurant experience. Pay is determined by experience.
Do NOT contact the restaurant at any point during the employment process. Doing so will eliminate any chance of being hired.
Please email a resume OR a short paragraph about yourself(include past three jobs and references). We will review the emails and invite you in to fill out an application.
Are they saying they are hiring all positions, as in one of each position, or that they are hiring all new employees? If so what happened?
The provision that you cannot contact the restaurant seems very strange to me. I would never work somewhere without researching it first, which would obviously include a trip to the place of business, which would make contact inevitable.
Are you going to hire teenagers?
Bret, I’m pretty sure they mean that they don’t want applicants showing up in person to submit resumes, which would inhibit business as usual. They probably do not mean that a person can’t show up and order food, without talking about getting hired. They just don’t want a line of applicants taking the place of people placing food orders. You don’t need to TELL them you are interested in the place, just go order food and THEN submit your resume via email.
I really hope they hire hot topless waitresses! (Who knows it could mesh with a “bottomless” cup of coffee!)
I suspect it also means they don’t want applicants to drop by every day asking “did I get the job yet?”
I would love to know how to make those beans.
