Fulton 1969

This is flooded Fulton from 1969. I’m guessing from Hurricane Camille?
Camille hit Richmond in mid-August of 1969. The photo credits, when I click on the link, appear to say it was taken in July of 1969, because it says 1969-07. Or could that be just the seventh of pictures taken in 1969?
Otherwise an interesting shot. Wonder where it was – the credits also say ‘Fulton before and after’ – where’s the before, or do I search the VCU photo archives?
Also, in 1969 there was an area of Jennie Scher Road that got flooded on a pretty regular basis (didn’t need a hurricane at all, just some rain). I remember knowing teens who liked to drive there after a rain, it was considered fun and/or daring to try to drive your car through a low-level flood. They called it a free car wash.
I thought this was still from the movie Christine? Right when Arnold Cunningham buys it from George Lebay….
