Have you seen a yellow cockatiel?

Is this the same one that I have seen signs up for since last JULY?
That is definitely not a cockatiel.
You can bring it to Church Hill Animal Hospital to see if they recognize it, if its from the area it may go there. I know they treat birds and exotics.
It’s the offspring of the missing cockatiel and a local pigeon.
Does anybody else find the picture humorous?
MISTER COCKATIEL, IS THAT YOU MISTER COCKATIEL?!
i was told recently that the cockatiel whose color posters were up forever was actually found around christmas somewhere in varina and returned to its owner. pretty miraculous. a contractor who works in church hill a lot was working at the home in varina when they found the bird and he told them about the flyers.
It does not look like a cockatiel. It is a sun conure. I lost
one 2 years ago…couldn’t be the same bird though.
I’m the person who took the photo. This couple pulled up to us on Jefferson Ave and said the bird had landed on them while they were standing outside of church. They said it’s got a band on its leg but they don’t know anything about birds. There’s a phone number to call them if you’re the owner — just ask and John M. can provide it to you.
JD – I agree, great picture of them flipping us the bird
I got a dog that way. It came up and adopted me. Thankfully, it did not land on my shoulder. That would have hurt
Betty Baugh’s Animal Clinic, 5322 Patterson Ave. (between Willow Lawn & Libbie) handles exotics including birds; Dr. Harrison, in particular. 288-7387. These birds have special needs and really need to be in the hands of someone experienced in caring for them.
Contact Church Hill Animal Clinic (Dr. Clay sees parrots) or Dr. Kitterman’s office at Brandermill Animal Hospital for info on proper care.
If this bird needs a home, I’ve had green cheeked conures before.
I second, if Elizabeth can’t take this guy, I am game. I had a green cheeked before and love them.
Wren, can you post contact information so this can be reposted on http://www.911parrotalert.com? Or you can do it yourself, if you wish. We also have a 911 Parrot Alert Facebook page where you can post more information. Friend us and you can post. BTW, the little one IS a green cheek conure. Thanks, Ellen
If an owner is not located, we have a cat who is really interested in adopting this bird. I think she’s had green cheek whatevers before and says they are delicious.
not funny
I sent an e-mail please get back to me ..thanks alot
Could this possibly be this bird?

that totally looks like it! good find!
Thank you, All Bark. I hope that is the owner. People kept sending me this cute ad wondering if it was my little blue crown conure that escaped the day after this bird was found. I emailed the woman from the link that I’d posted, but have not heard anything yet. Hopefully, this will lead to a happy ending!
This looks like my bird Katie. She is a blue crowned conure and she was lost in November of last year. She is super tame and can say several things… Please email me at brwtayL@aol.com and I will tell you about her. I miss her like crazy and would do anything to have her back!
