Holmberg pushes Jones to redevelop Richmond’s public housing
04/03/2012 6:54 AM by John M
Mark Holmberg has a piece on wtvr about Mayor Jones’ will to redevelop Richmond’s public housing.
Cmon mayor jones . Make it happen
Great post. Redeveloping these projects needs to be priority number one in Richmond with everything else being a distant second. Kudos to the Mayor for addressing this.
I’ve been to the Diamond and Coliseum both within the year. They’re both functional and suit their purpose just fine and any redevelopment or replacement of these buildings can surely wait.
The redevelopment of these projects cannot wait another day.
Priority number one. Agreed.
Agreed! As someone who lives 2 blocks from Gilpin Court, this project should come before a new stadium or coliseum! Neighborhoods such as Southern Barton Heights and Battery Park could flourish if folks weren’t worried about having to drive through Gilpin Court to access those areas.
Why do they need to be rebuilt?
