What kind of &^$%@ keys a car?

“Looks like my neighbor and I (and possibly more) had our vehicles keyed last night. Dealing with insurance hell right now. Just FYI, 500 block of 31st.”
As they say, you do not mess with another man’s car. These people have no ‘core’, no ‘mana’, no ‘pride’.
Somebody stole a columbine plant from my yard. Just dug it up . It time for for a Charles Bronson movie
It looks like it was the entire right side of the block. Both our cars got it.
Oh and that dead fox in the street yesterday morning? Someone dumped it in our trash can. Thanks neighbors! (sarcasm font)
My car was keyed too! And my neighbors. 600 block of 31st. People piss me off. Clearly, “they” were walking in the middle of the road as they normally do and decided to destroy other people’s property. They must not own a vehicle.
Ps the fox was cool. I took a pic of it but didn’t touch it. It was killed at like 6:15 am.
My car was keyed as well. Insurance is no help. Motherf*ckers.
That fox corpse was surreal. I was late to work and had to do a drive by to confirm. Never seen one inside the city before.
My car got keyed as well. I live on 31st too. What jerks.
@ Post # 2 – Plants were stolen out of my front yard, too! I’m in the 900 block of N. 26th. Seriously, who does a silly thing like that?!?!
Seeing wildlife in the city is pretty cool, I had to do a double take when I stepped out of my house back when I lived in the museum district and was face to face with a fox. Never seen anything more exotic than a oppossum or hawk in CH so far though. Do we have raccoons much? Never seen one so far.
Seen some oppossums, a racoon or 2 & from time to time a few deer roam around the old dump off of E. Richmond Rd.
Would like to speak with someone about the damage to their car(s) from last night. Please email me: vrohrmoser@wric.com. – Veronica, 8News Reporter
Possums from family market. Old Fryer grease. Not disposed of properly. The place only sells and makes garbage..
What can be done? Sorry bout the cars
I’ve seen foxes every so often in the city – I saw one last fall that had been hit by a car at the 7th and 9th Street exit from the downtown expressway. Huge red fox, very dead, very sad. I figured that one came up off the river area around Brown’s Island.
Bret #10, there are tons of possums in CH as well as racoons. I knew someone on East Franklin who had a racoon family take up residence in her apartment, hired someone to trap and remove them. And I seem to recall a thread on here a few years ago about a bunch of skunks somewhere in the northern part of CH.
Good luck to all of you with Channel 8, I can’t imagine it will help with insurance but maybe it would feel good to vent.
Anyone seen any southeast asian jungle fowl?
Fox, possums, owls, snakes, racoons, rodents & hawks are common near 38th & P street’s (Woods behind Franklin School & houses.) Not helping when people use the woods for dumping.
The problem is all these animals can’t hold keys let alone use them to damage the paint on a car.
Our car got keyed as well went to get a quote about it and if I were to make it look like it did three days ago it would cost $1,300.
Bret, we definitely have some raccoons in CH. I heard something on my back porch about two months ago. I kept hearing and could not see anyone/thing and opened my back door and a huge raccoon came out from behind my grill. He stared at me like I should have let him in the house.
Oh yeah? Well top this. Last year, during the hurricane that passed through Richmond, after dark, some motherf&%(@# carefully extricated both the sideview mirrors on my 10 y/o SUV! Seriously, in the dark, in the middle of a storm and with surgical precision so they could resell the things. I was out nearly $500. Kind of hard to drive a vehicle without sideviews (not to mention illegal!).
