Yoga in Jefferson Park
04/25/2012 10:33 AM by John M
The physical practice of Yoga is the sequencing/flow of poses (asanas) that link the body and mind through the threading of breath and movement. The practice cultivates physical, mental and emotional balance, openness, intelligence, strength and well-being. It brings your body, mind and spirit into harmony and health to create a Nava Life. Class Level: Beginners – Intermediate. You will need a Yoga mat, blanket or large towel to practice on, a bottle of water and an open heart. This is a FREE event.
Every Saturday 10-11AM in Jefferson Park. No class if rains.
Yay, what a fantastic idea! I’ll be there as often as I can.
awesome!!!
I’ll be there!
Yoga in the Park is still on for 4/28! Bring something warm to wear for the beginning and end of practice.
Hi Tonita…is it tonite?
This morning 10-11AM
This morning’s class was great! BALD EAGLE circled overhead as we gazed skyward in reverse side-angle pose. Later, we did eagle pose to thank her. Looking forward to next Saturday.
Totally missed out:(
Sure did enjoy Saturday’s Yoga exercises, thanks to the Christmas’s. And, yes, the eagle flying over was pretty cool. We need to have a FB group!
Is this still happening during the summer?
