Anybody selling a house with a garage or basement?
04/27/2012 1:16 PM by John M
A question from a reader:
I am a Realtor with clients looking in Church Hill. They want a home that has a garage or a walkout basement with easy access. […] My Clients are ready to go, they have pre-qualified, and would like to close in June.
TAGGED: real estate
sounds like someone needs a new buying agent if they have to resort to a blog to find their house instead of MLS or other means
haha…that’s not very nice, Human Honey Badger.
HHB, was thinking the same thing. They need to find a decent realtor.
Human Honey Badger, I’m guessing this agent’s clients have already seen everything that is currently listed that meets their needs. Their (obviously hard-working, proactive) Realtor appears to be hoping to find someone whose house isn’t listed but who is maybe thinking of selling soon.
(And no, it’s not me, but I respect the hustle.)
We have a 2500 sq ft home with both a 2 car garage and a partial basement. We planned to put it one the market soon. It is in the Old and Historic ST John’s District
Thanks to all of you with positive comments…clients are looking in the 200K to 250K range…can go more depending on the home. Michael, please contact me @ alton@refineproperties.com. If anyone else knows of someone thinking about selling, please send them my email address.
Thanks,

Sorry, Alton. We’re in the 385 range
I looked in the area for the same features and had a hard time finding one. I wanted to stay in the 600 block or lower. I had looked at a few with garages further north but got discouraged when the garages were littered with bullet holes.
I ended up making an offer on a house in carytown instead.
No doubt, there are some really great homes in CH. Good luck to you and your client. Way to go thinking outside the box!
Thank you for all of the positive comments and leads. I found a home in a different area of town that was a good fit for my clients. I would like to send a shout out to my friend that lives in Church Hill! (You know who you are…)
