Have you seen Val Kilmer?
07/31/2012 9:20 PM by John M
My cat Val Kilmer I believe escaped at some point while I was at work and people were going in and out of the house. We live near the corner of Leigh and 33rd in Churchill so he is likely in the area still. […] I am making fliers and am going to put them up all over tomorrow and will be calling the spca and animal control/the pound tomorrow when they open. I was supposed to move back to the Fan today but I will be staying here til I find him.
My number is (703) 402 2278. Any help in spreading the word would be greatly appreciated as I am worried sick.

He looks like a very cool cat! Hope you find him!!!
i live at 33rd and P. Me and my roommate will keep an eye out for him. hope it makes you feel better.
Good luck in the search – I’ve heard that indoor cats let out sometimes get scared and often stay very close to their house, but hide really well so it can hard to find them.
I second the part about indoor cats staying close to home but hiding. We lost our Siamese for nearly 30 days and searched high and low for him. Turned out the little guy was living under the crawl space under our apartment building. We got him back. Skinny and dirty, but relatively unscathed.
#3 and #4, I agree. One of mine got out years ago when he was only five months old; hid in the alley for five days before crossing the street (unscathed) and hiding under a bush and crying really loudly until I found him. He now has a fear of the front door, which suits me just fine. Good luck to Val Kilmer’s mom person, he’s probably not far away!
Did you ever find him?
