Church Hill Chillers ghost tour

Oakwood neighborhood clean-up

Let your Saturday go to waste – join in T.T.Y. monthly neighborhood effort to pick up litter! Meet at 1023 Oakwood Avenue. Trash bags , pick up rods, and gloves will be provided. Union Hill Garden Project

Help low income families plant their own vegetable and flower gardens to provide nutritious low-cost food and to beautify the neighborhood. Learn basic gardening skills and meet members of the community! This fall we are planting fruit trees and bushes for a “community orchard”, landscaping blighted properties, and planting vegetable gardens for individual families. Please bring $5 if you want to share pizza for lunch.

RPS School Board

The RPS School Board meets at 4:30PM and 6PM on the first Monday of each month in Council Chamber Room on the 2nd floor of City Hall, located at 301 North Ninth Street; and at 6PM on the third Monday of each month at selected schools.

Chimborazo Model School Task Force

Free Flu Shot Clinic

The 7th District Health & Wellness Initiative in partnership with the Richmond City Health District and Walgreens presents a free flu shot clinic. This clinic will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 4:30pm until 8:00pm at the East End Fellowship Offices located at 2906 Q Street, Richmond, VA 23223, right across the street from the Robinson Theater. Flu season is right around the corner. Protect yourself and your family by getting a flu shot. This vaccine can be administered to those age 7 and up.
