Black and white photograph of the parking lot of Krispies Fried Chicken at 1625 E. Williamsburg Road in the east end of Richmond; Robert O. Fleming was shot by a Richmond Police officer after a struggle; Fleming had been jumping on top of a car before attacking the officer; image shows the restaurant in the background with the car and a blood stain in the parking lot.
This photo is from the Valentine Richmond History Center Collections Database, and is credited to Lindy Keast Rodman of Richmond Newspapers, Inc. (October 28, 1988).
Wow, Krispies has been around an awfully long time.
