Anderson’s Neck Oyster Company this week at The Roosevelt

The Anderson’s Neck Oyster Company, the local oysters with the Church Hill connection, will be make their RVA debut this week at The Roosevelt:
It’s official, the first release of our premium oysters, Eagle Flats, will be at The Roosevelt in Richmond’s historic Church Hill starting this Wednesday! We find it very fitting that the introduction of our premium, locally grown oysters is at one of our favorite restaurants. […] now you can be one of the first to taste Anderson’s Neck Eagle Flats on the half shell.
We tried these on “opening” night… Absolutely delicious. Tried them with the Roosevelt’s mignonette sauce (a little too bacon-y), with a little bit of fresh lemon, and just plain naked. Honestly, these oysters were so good they tasted best completely au naturale. What a great match: delicious oysters and Chesapeake conservation. Keep up the great work guys!
