The Batchery wants your input
02/04/2013 9:53 AM by John M
The Batchery, a craft beer start-up looking at Jackson Ward or Church Hill as a future home, is running a short market survey:
The Batchery creates impeccable quality, tiny-batch, custom craft beers. We’re charting new territory for a brewing concern by completely sidestepping the retail hustle, ignoring the bar scene, and taking a pass on deep-fried brewpub fare. Instead we create one-of-a-kind beers in collaboration with our clients for special events, discerning eateries, and the intrepid members of our CSZ.
At least… that’s what we WILL do when we launch in the winter of 2013. Curious about our concept? Learn more below and how you can help us go from inspired idea to successful start-up.

Church Hill. It’s the new place to be. Come on over Batchery.
Church Hill ! Join all the great new spots.
I did their survey earlier today- they are thinking of having a craft beer share (like a CSA share but with beer). I think this is a dandy idea.
This is an excellent idea, and the about-to-be-renovated commercial space at 801 N 23rd could be perfect. Contact: Daniil Kleyman at : dvk5f at yahoo dot com
