Lt.Minton’s Sector 111 March report (PDF) (invite to the Quarterly Neighborhood Watch Meeting) is now available. Sector 111 encompasses Church Hill, Chimborazo, Church Hill North, Fulton, Oakwood, and Union Hill:

Violent crime in February was up from 4 to 10 as it compared to last year. There were 6 individual robberies. Four of these have been cleared by the arrest of the offender and we have a warrant out for Pedro Webb (see page 3) for a robbery that occurred at 1601 N 31st. We arrested Timothy Covington for 2 of these robberies. You will remember that he was featured last month in reference to his warrants (see page 4). We had two aggravated assaults this past month. One was cleared by arrest and the other case the victim did not want to go to court over the incident and provided very limited information. The other violent crime for February was the commercial robbery at 3400 Q St. We were able to arrest David Reed and Marcellus Johnson for that offense. I have also included a wanted poster for Leonard Bullock (see page 5). He is wanted for an Aggravated Domestic Assault which was an argument that turned violent over a piece of pizza.

Property crime in February up from 22 to 34. The noticeable increases came in Burgla- ries, Thefts from Buildings, and Thefts from Motor Vehicles. I have included wanted posters for two males that are wanted for committing a Burglary and Grand Larceny in Greater Fulton (pages 6 and 7). In addition I have included a wanted poster for a male that has committed two Grand Larcenies in Church Hill North (page 8). We have noticed an increase in break-ins and thefts from buildings where the offenders are entering the residences from the rear door. Please call the police immediately if you notice suspicious people or activity taking place in the alleys or behind residences. A lot of times it may appear that someone is moving out of a residence when in actuality a theft is taking place. If the activity is questionable to you don’t hesi- tate to call. We have had recent thefts where furnaces, a/c units, sinks, and large appliances were taken. As always, remember to lock your vehicles and bring in all valuables. We have had recent thefts from unlocked vehicles. We have seen a decrease in Motor Vehicle Thefts but please continue to keep an eye out for vehicles being towed for no apparent reason.

Let talk about some good news! Officer Mary Gary was recently interviewed for making 197 arrests last year. In addition, Officer Gary has written over 1400 summons in 3.5 years on the Police Depart- ment. Officer Gary focuses on DUI enforcement and recently was awarded the MADD award for her ef- forts.
