they discuss childhood obesity and what YOU
can do to stop it.

GET ACTIVE with our local fitness instructors and
learn a few moves to fight childhood obesity.
GET EXCITED about ending childhood obesity
through healthy eating on a budget with ideas
and hands-on activities from our nutritionist and

Every Saturday, offering Church Hill an opportunity to taste and purchase wine at retail prices. Themes, format, and focus will change weekly.

City Council Formal Meeting

Mon Mar 11 6:00 pm
Every 2nd and 4th Mon – Responsible for deciding official Council action, which includes discussing, adopting, rejecting, and amending laws and approving the budget. Formal meetings include a time for pubic comment and are televised live on the local PBS station and are replayed in Richmond on Government Access Channel 17, beginning at Noon and 7:00 p.m. daily.

Dash for Dads 5K Walk/Run

Open to the public & fun for the whole family, the goal of DASH FOR DADS is to CHEER ON FATHERHOOD, and show the importance of the father-daughter relationship (the father is the first significant man in his daughter’s life and he plays a unique and essential role in the development of her image, confidence, and self esteem). This event is one of four events scheduled for Camp Diva’s DATE WITH DAD WEEKEND, March 15-17, 2013. During the DASH FOR DADS, participants will pass the Richmond City Jail to let incarcerated fathers know they are not forgotten.
