OMG Convenience Store coming to Nine Mile

Coming soon to the long-vacant gas station at Nine Mile and Creighton Road, no apparent connection to the old OMG Cafe:
Mayflower Ventures LLC trading as OMG Convenience Store, 3050 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond (Henrico), Va. 23223 is applying to the VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL (ABC) for a wine & beer off premises license to sell or manufacture alcoholic beverages. Hamad F. Bani Ahmad, Manager.
NOTE: Objections to the issuance of this license must be submitted to ABC no later than 30 days from the publishing date of the first of two required newspaper legal notices. Objections should be registered at www.abc.virginia.gov or 800-552-3200.

While I do like seeing a business rather than a vacant building, does this area really need another “convenience” store? Especially with ABC off?
I don’t know the LLC names, is this another business venture for the former OMG Cafe/current Johnson’s business owners?
