Bootleg Ball & 2013-2014 Season Announcement

Church Hill Games

Blue Sky Fund invites you to the 8th annual Church Hill Games! Church Hill Games (CHG) is a sports clinic for kids from K to 8th grades that will include 10 different sports stations.

After the clinic, there is an inspirational speaker and lunch. This year, we are expecting 250 kids, so we need lots of volunteers!

Details:

Volunteer registration deadline: April 29th, 2013
CHG is on Saturday, May 11th from 9:30 am to 2 pm.

CHG location: Bill Robinson Park in Church Hill, 701 North 37th St. Richmond, VA

Volunteers must be in 9th grade or older. Children of volunteers in K–8th grade are encouraged to attend as a participant but cannot volunteer.

TRX in Libby Hill Park

With warmer weather on the way, sometimes it’s hard to make it to the gym. We get it. That’s why we’re moving the fun outdoors. Starting in May we’ll offer TRX & Yoga in the Park.

Yoga / 1st and 3rd TUES of each month at 7PM
TRX / 2nd and 4th SAT of each month at 9AM

If you’re a member at Richmond Balance it’s FREE! Punch cards are welcome. Don’t have a membership or a punch card? No worries, the drop-in price is $5 per class.

Wine Shop Saturdays @ Dutch & Company

City Council Formal Meeting

Mon May 13 6:00 pm
Every 2nd and 4th Mon – Responsible for deciding official Council action, which includes discussing, adopting, rejecting, and amending laws and approving the budget. Formal meetings include a time for pubic comment and are televised live on the local PBS station and are replayed in Richmond on Government Access Channel 17, beginning at Noon and 7:00 p.m. daily.

History Hounds Explore Church Hill Walking Tour

Dogs are invited to join their owners for this walking tour of Church Hill, in partnership with the Richmond SPCA. Dogs must have current shots, mix well with others and remain on a leash.
