Two arrested after B&E on 20th Street
05/14/2013 7:18 AM by John M
Thanks to the speedy response of several First Precinct Officers recently and the good nose of K-9 Arek, two men were quickly arrested after they broke into a home on [the 1500 block of] North 20th Street. The first officers on scene–Officers Joachin Okonkwo, James Spader, Kevin Hyde, Jermaine Powell, Stephen Butler, Sgt. Marvin Marsh and Lt. Dan Minton—secured the scene and set up a perimeter until additional units arrived to search the house. Focus Mission Team Sgt. Raymond Fitts and Officers Thomas Gilbert, John Rotondi and Brian Parker with K-9 Officer James Turner and K-9 Arek then entered the residence and took both men safely into custody. Both men were then interviewed and charged with burglary.
Good work…and James Spader’s now on Richmond’s police force? Nice news. Hollywood got to be too much.
We should get more of the K9 cops. They seem to be Richmond’s finest.
