School Board approves Bellevue/Chimborazo rezoning

In a marathon meeting lasting almost 6 hours last night, the Richmond School Board voted to move forward with a plan for elementary school rezoning and school closings.
Locally, the rezoning expands the draw zone for Bellevue Elementary, a school itself chronically mentioned for closure due to under-enrollment. Students from the south end of Fulton will be moved from Chimborazo ES to Bellevue ES.
