Church Hill residents, Michael & Laura Hild are thrilled to announce RVA’s first ever Blue Bee Cider and ANOC Oyster tasting! Come join us at the Blue Bee Cider tasting room in Manchester where Blue Bee owner, Courtney Mailey, will offer her newly introduced ciders, paired alongside our Eagle Flats. Don’t miss the chance to taste our specially crafted Blue Bee Cider mignonette as an awesome accompaniment to the oysters!

Nava Life Yoga in Jefferson Park

Join us for “Yoga in the Park 2013” beginning on Saturday, June 1st at 10:00AM in Jefferson Park located at 2100 Jefferson Ave. The class will be held every Saturday until August 3rd. Bring a mat, bottled water and, most importantly, an open heart. This year we are asking for donations that will go toward the support of a “community cause” suggested by class participants. The Universe has graciously blessed us with a sponsor for our fruit kabobs this year (They were a yummy, refreshing treat after practice).

With warmer weather on the way, sometimes it’s hard to make it to the gym. We get it. That’s why we’re moving the fun outdoors. Starting in May we’ll offer TRX & Yoga in the Park.

Yoga / 1st and 3rd TUES of each month at 7PM
TRX / 2nd and 4th SAT of each month at 9AM

If you’re a member at Richmond Balance it’s FREE! Punch cards are welcome. Don’t have a membership or a punch card? No worries, the drop-in price is $5 per class.

Muse Creative Workspace is hosting a subscription concert series “LIVE @ the Warehouse” in support of music education and Jazz preservation within the Richmond area. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Jazz Mentor’s Project, a community outreach initiative that connects young musicians ages 8-18 with skilled professionals. We encourage you to support this initiative as it serves to improve the fabric of our Richmond community and provide opportunity for our youth! Good music for a GREAT cause!

!Remember as a kid when you were always told not to play in the street? Well, now you can! Inspired by open streets projects all over the world, this event is about closing streets to cars and opening them to the public – for one day – to create a healthy, sustainable and vibrant RVA street experience. This event is FREE and open to everyone to do what they wish – run, walk, bike, roller blade, Zumba, hula hoop, WHATEVER! The event will take place on a 2.5-mile loop across the Manchester and 14th Street bridges.
