Police chase last night on 23rd Street

It was a pursuit that started in Henrico County and ended in the city.

Around 1:00 AM, Henrico Police officers responded to the 2400 block of Allence Blvd in reference to a suspicious situation call for service. Officers located a vehicle that had been seen driving around the area. After a brief conversation with a female driver, she drove off in the vehicle and officers initiated a pursuit. The pursuit ended in the city at North 24th Street and Burton Avenue. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were found inside the vehicle. No injuries.

The driver, Ms. Cobb, was charged with DUI, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, eluding, and driving on suspended license.
