SEED applications due August 29

Virginia Local Initiatives Support Corporation and Bon Secours Richmond Health System are pleased to announce the third round of the Supporting East End Entrepreneur Development Program.

Those interested must turn in an application (PDF) by AUGUST 29, 2013 to Virginia LISC (413 Stuart Circle, Suite 300, Richmond, VA 23220) or email it to kking@lisc.org. Businesses must be located in the 23223 zip code within the city of Richmond, preferably along the 25th Street and Nine Mile Road Corridor.

The SEED program was designed in 2011 to provide up to $10,000 in grant funding to to entrepreneurs looking to start or expand a business in Church Hill. Businesses that have won SEED grants in 2012 include: Sub Rosa Bakery, Proper Pie Co., Era Vintage, Dutch and Co., J. Burton’s Hauling and Disposal, WPA Bakery and All Around Painting.
