Do you know this cat?

Could you ask if anyone knows this kitty? I just started feeding her and I believe she is feral, she won’t let me get near her. It looks like her ear is tipped, if so she is spayed. She hangs out around Jefferson Park. I just want to know if she is someone’s pet, or if other people are feeding and sheltering her.
If her/his ear is tipped and seems feral-s/he has probably been trapped & released. Spayed/neutered, given shots etc. Hopefully there are some feeding stations set up for ferals but if not you could continue to leave some out. 🙂
I trapped, fixed, and released about 20 feral cats in that area last year. I live right down the block from Jefferson Park. I haven’t been feeding her but would be happy to call my vet to see if we spayed a calico last year. Let me know if that would be helpful.
ewc- That would be great! Thank you so much.
That could be one of my neighbors cats. She has 2 calicos that roam the neighborhood.
Danielle,
My vet just confirmed that I did bring in a feral calico in June of 2012 to be spayed and ear clipped. No guarantees that the calico pictured above is the same calico that I brought in last year….. Hopefully, you can get close enough to see if she is clipped. Good luck to you!
ewc,
I got close enough she does have a clipped ear. So I will continue feeding her and checking up on her for now. Thank you for confirming for me!
You should totally tame this cat and make her your faithful pet. it can be done, it takes time, patience and stinky wet food doled out at almost religiously ritualistic intervals.
