New statue coming to Jefferson Park

On Tuesday, August 6, [the Public Arts Commission sub committee] chose the proposal for relocating the statue to Jefferson Park, which was submitted by the Union Hill Civic Association and Friends of Jefferson Park. The proposal still needs to be approved by the PAC during its regular Aug. 13 meeting, but is not expected to have opposition.
This will be a great addition to Jefferson Park. Does anyone know exactly where in the park it will be placed?
