Help the Bellevue PTA with your Farm Fresh receipts
09/05/2013 6:15 AM by John M
Looking for super easy way to support your local Elementary School? Farm Fresh Market’s 123-4 the Community receipts program has started up again! Just tear off the bottom of your receipts and either drop them off at Bellevue Elementary or place them in the mailbox on the corner of 24th and East Grace labeled FARM FRESH RECEIPTS.
By collecting receipts, the Bellevue PTA accrues points that can be used to buy equipment for our school. Thanks to you, the Bellevue PTA collected enough receipts last year to buy a document camera and individual scales for measuring for each classroom.
Any questions, please email Christina Mastroianni at President@bellevuePTA.org.
Anyone know what an individual receipt is worth? Say I spend $10, how much does Bellevue get from that? I think it’s a great program and will definitely pitch in but wanted to see if its worth it when I have a receipt from a soda and chips or something small.
Hi Alex!
Any and every receipt helps. Bellevue earns one credit for each dollar of eligible receipt deposits up to a total of $200,000. This year we hope to collect 100,000 credits and. Last year, we collected 74,000 credits and many of those receipts were for small items. Hope this helps!
Christina- How much is a credit worth in dollar terms?
Hi Alex – One credit is worth one dollar.
Hello Allex – I should clarify my last comment. Farm Fresh publishes a catalog of equipment and at the end of the program each year we “purchase” items that our school needs. Each item is worth a certain number of credits. For example, last year we purchased a document camera and 12 scales for 75,000 credits. I hope this helps. If you need more clarification or information I am happy to talk with you offline. You can reach me at president@BellevuePTA.org.
Thanks Christina, I’ll bring you all my receipts then. Even the small ones…
Just out of curiosity, what kind of scales are we talking about here? People scales?
Hi Alex – The scales are those little scales used for weights and measures. It’s a great visual tool for teaching elementary age children. Thanks for contributing your receipts!
Hello all – Just wanted to let you know that the Drop Box is up and ready for your receipts! We have decided to locate it in front of the school just to right of the entrance. Thanks for all your support!
