CHA votes no on Buzzy’s, installs replacement board

The membership of the Church Hill Association voted 45-23 to not to support the amended SUP for Captain Buzzy’s. There membership secretary reports that there were 79 total members in attendance, with several leaving before the vote.

This is the same SUP that the CHA zoning committee approved in February and that the membership voted to support at their April meeting.

The ordinance is scheduled to appear before City Council at their September 23 meeting.

The membership also voted in the replacement board for the remainder of 2013:

• President – John Johnson
• Treasurer – Karen Cooper
• Vice President and therefore President in 2014 – Jeff Cooper
• Assistant Treasurer and therefore Treasurer in 2014 – David Cooley
