Do you know of any low-income older adults who could use no-cost home improvements?
This is an urgent request from Rebuilding Together. We need your help in reaching out to persons who may be able to use our services.
Please be aware we are still looking for low-income older adults who need home improvements. They must own the home and live in it full-time.
Our application states a Nov. 1 deadline. We are extending that to continue accepting applications until we have enough for our program.
We are providing no-cost home improvements to low-income homeowners – older adults (55+) and those with disabilities who live in an area of Church Hill most commonly referred to as Oakwood and Chimborazo. The streets we are targeting are N. 28th to N. 38th and Oakwood, 23223 zip code.
Please contact Amy King with Rebuilding Together if you can help them reach neighbors:

This is really a great program doing tangible, positive things to prevent displacement caused by decayed housing – and to help the City stay mixed income, mixed age, and mixed race. Rebuilding Together of Richmond
are doing a lot of good heavy lifting.
