14th Annual Brunswick Stew Festival

Stewmasters from all over gather for this annual event, each offering their unique version of a tasty fall favorite. Stew available for purchase by the sample or by the quart. Come enjoy an expanded craft market, great music by Road Kill Roy and Notch 8, and ice-cold brew to wash down all that delicious stew. Make sure you get there early before the quarts run out!

With warmer weather on the way, sometimes it’s hard to make it to the gym. We get it. That’s why we’re moving the fun outdoors. Starting in May we’ll offer TRX & Yoga in the Park.
Yoga / 1st and 3rd TUES of each month at 7PM
TRX / 2nd and 4th SAT of each month at 9AM
If you’re a member at Richmond Balance it’s FREE! Punch cards are welcome. Don’t have a membership or a punch card? No worries, the drop-in price is $5 per class.

Friends of Jefferson Park planning meeting

The Friends of Jefferson Park will hold a planning meeting on Thursday, November 7th, from 6-7 pm at 801 North 24th Street. Items of discussion will include the Mr. Smedley Statue, the Jefferson Park Fountain project, Trees, park clean-ups, 2013 Holiday tree trimming, and planning for 2014.
