Clay Street Market robbed
11/04/2013 6:59 AM by John M
Police say the robbers entered the store around 7p.m. The store is located at the corner of E. Clay street. Police say one of the robbers was armed with a shotgun.
these robbers are not going learn until they go in a store and ask for the money and get something that they don’t really want!!!
Maybe if the windows weren’t totally obscured with advertising so a robber wouldn’t feel comfortable that he would be hidden during his act, and cameras were obvious outside and inside, this sort of thing could be prevented.
My condolences to the owners of Clay St. Market. The owners have been working very hard to make a more attractive shop that is an amenity to the community. I hope the robbers were caught on the market’s security cameras and will soon be removed from the community. Thankfully no one was hurt.
I’m really sad to hear this. They Clay St Market owners are really nice folks who are working to make a better Church Hill by offering fresh food from Tricycle Gardens!
Wow… that’s right across the street from the elementary school.
