Per a suggestion in a recent comment: a map of B&E incidents since September 1 for Sectors 111 and 113.
This shows 7 B&Es in September, 16 in October, and 12 through the 1st half of November.

This is interesting data, John. Thanks for pulling it together. So people living on Clay, Leigh, and M Streets from Jefferson Park to Chimbo Park are the prime targets for B&Es.

Over by 28th & Marshall we had two individuals try and kick in the back door during the middle of the day, but then they left when they realized someone was home.
This is so awful. We have decided to leave Church Hill over the reports of break ins. I just don’t feel safe here which is such a shame because I have really been impressed with its recent growth and we love the local restaurants. I don’t think the police are doing enough to keep us safe. We’re outta here.
SaraMac, I’m sorry to hear you feel that way but do keep in mind that a rash of break-ins can happen in the very best of neighborhoods. Leaving the Hill because a few unlawful individuals are creating trouble may be an escape, but it’s not the solution. I suggest the neighborhood (individuals as well as the association) put more pressure on the local police to increase patrols through Church Hill and work with the local citizens to identify the culprits. I believe these people can and will be caught.
If we triangulate the coordinates and synchronize our watches…I believe all these activities center around a group of house on the 2600 block of broad…we should form a violent mob and head over to those house.
