Broad Street as the heart of Richmond

The RTD’s Business on Broad kicks off with a look at the changes along our stretch of East Broad over the past few years:

Sharon Larkins-Pederson moved to Church Hill 17 years ago. The retired chief development officer of the MCV Foundation said she was drawn to the neighborhood by its architecture and the close-knit sense of community.

She said an “amazing” number of restoration projects on homes large and small has brought in lots of new neighbors in recent years. And the growing population has attracted new restaurants, bakeries and retailers.
