Richmond population continues to grow

New data from the U.S. Census Bureau says that Richmond’s population is at 214,114 people as of July 2013.
A January estimate of Richmond’s population the by Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service Demographics Research Group at UVA put the city’s population at 211,172 (itself an increase of 3.4% over the official 2010 count of 204,214 – and also up from the 2000 count of 197,790)..
