Church Hill Community Walk

At last, Spring is here! Join your neighbors tomorrow morning for the first annual CHA Community infrastructure walk.
We will meet in Libby Hill Park at the park house at 9 am. We will divide up into groups of two or three and walk the neighborhood noting infrastructure that needs repair.

Knife sharpening at Union Market

On Saturday, April 5, Mr. Leonard’s Knife Sharpening service will be on-site at Union Market from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The cost is $6 per sharpening. Customers are encouraged to bring any knives or scissors needing sharpening wrapped in a towel with the individual’s full name and phone number included.

RISC Nehemiah Action

Over 1,200 representatives from Richmond’s faith communities will represent Richmonders Involved to Strengthen our Communities (RISC) on April 7, 2014 at Good Shepherd Baptist Church at 1127 North 28th Street. Public officials and local leaders will be asked to make commitments to support the Affordable Housing Trust Fund in Richmond City and job training for the most distressed neighborhoods of Metro Richmond.
