Police seeking information about man who was found injured

The Richmond Police Department is currently seeking information from anyone who may have seen a man who was found injured last Friday morning. At approximately 2:30 a.m. on June 13, Hussein Salih, 23, was found at the intersection of Cedar and East Marshall streets suffering from a significant head injury. He was transported to VCU Medical Center.

Salih is six feet tall and weighs 170 pounds.

Detectives are seeking information from those who had seen or interacted with Salih on the evening and morning in question. He is believed to have patronized several establishments in Shockoe Bottom before walking from the area and being found injured.

Anyone who may have information is asked to call the Detective Ed Aeschlimann at (804) 839-0959 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens may also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key work “ITip” followed by your tip. Both methods are anonymous.
