Someone broke into our fence at 800 block of N. 26th street today and into our shed. The lawnmower was stolen and a large pair of panties left behind. FYI.
I’m on the 500 block of N 26th and I saw a guy ride through the empty lot next to us on a pink cruiser. It did not look like it belonged to him. You didn’t get a bike stolen too did you?
If the panties don’t fit you must aquit!
Jujubee; that is the best comment ever!
@10- Jason, It is bikini season. I believe the perp could have new method for “urban manscaping”?
and its not even friday night yet
This is a CSI wet dream.
I had my lawn mower stolen from my back yard at 33rd/ Clay 2 weeks ago.

Maybe it was a contribution to someone’s clothesline holding underwear?
Just had a guy trying to sell me a Cannoade mountain bike for $30.00.
Anyone missing a black mountail bike?
Is so, he was just at corner of Franklin and 26th st at 10 this morning.
JJ- hopefully you called the police first?
When someone tries to sell some expensive item door ro door or on the corner, here is what I do..
Tell them you have to go inside to get the cash and call the police. It works every time! This is especially gratifying when someone is “selling ” construction equipment. These guys work hard in the heat and these tools are their livelyhood!
@Jean
That is probably not the best advice. It is not the best idea to tick off a criminal, get them arrested on your front porch, when they know where you live.
If you choose to do that, that’s fine. I would not put my family/belongings at risk…. nor suggest my neighbors to do the same.
Politely tell them no, get a thorough description and call the police. If they are walking, it would not be hard to track them down in the Hill.
It may not be the best advice , but it works for me. i am not concerned about ticking off some criminal or them knowing where I live. I have lived here since 1978 and never had any problems.
I used to have a 1959 Ford F150 and never hesitated to use it to run suspects down an alley and pin them to a brick wall ( it had nice rounded bumpers ) until the police showed up. The police appreciated this.
Each person has to make decisions that THEY are comfortable with. But, if you act like a fearful rabbit, the fox will go after you before he goes after Thumper.
Has anyone reported any stolen panties?
I am trying to figure out if this is the work of a zoro type theif, leaving his mark behind or a 60s batman villan.
Someone in the neighborhood couldn’t wait until payday for a Brazilian?
I think it’s definitely a calling card…he/she should be known as “The Panty Raider”.
