Missing this dog?
07/12/2014 9:54 AM by John M
Are you missing your sweet fixed male white and grey terrier? A gentleman found him and bought him to our house (near Chimborazo Elem) around 10 pm last night. The dog is sweet, 25 lbs, call or text 804-267-0363 to pick up asap; between our territorial dog and our preschooler, we can’t keep this sweetie around.
TAGGED: pets
We will be at the beach for the better part of the day, but should be back by 5 pm if anyone recognizes him. I’m taking him to Richmond Animal Control on Mon am.
Update: “Fergie” (as named by my little boy) is at Richmond Animal Control. He’s a pure breed wire-haired fox terrier, weighs 18lbs, is about 4 years old, great with kids and other dogs. He will be available for adoption in 6 days. I’d keep him in a heartbeat if our circumstances allowed for a second pet.
Update: I called Richmond Animal Control and he was reunited with his owner an hour after I dropped him off. His family reported him missing from Forest Hills (!) on Sunday and came and got him as soon as they were notified. I’m posting this update for two reasons: 1) he’s no longer up for adoption and 2) Animal Control and the dog’s owner believe he was dog napped by someone and that’s how he ended up in CH. Keep your dogs inside and away from a dognappers who may frequent our neighborhood.
That’s crazy! Thanks for the update.
Some good news for a change.
