Read: The Arsonist’s Song Has Nothing to Do with Fire

Church Hill’s own Allison Titus had her first novel published this month. You can pick up The Arsonist’s Song Has Nothing to Do with Fire at any of the online bookstores or, even better, Chop Suey in Carytown.

Described as “elegant, haunting, subversive”, Titus’ novel tells the story of Vivian Foster, a professional house-sitter who finds herself inextricably linked to a neighborhood arsonist and a radical plastic surgeon whose secret mission is to build wings for humans.
