Eva writes in with word of a tool theft at 24th and Marshall:
There were some tools stolen from the parking lot last night at 24th and Marshall. A heavy duty toolbox in the back of a truck was broken into and four rather expensive items were taken.
All Dewalt brand-
a mini circular saw
a right angled drill
a multi-Speed drill
and a reciprocating sawI would really appreciate it if you posted this, as the police took a report but said there wasn’t much they could do.

Sector 111’s Lt.Dan shared on Twitter yesterday that 2 stolen bicycles were recovered:
I live on 36th and all my tools have been taken the past few months. I have done everything to try and stop the break ins at my residence, I was told by a fellow neighbor that a person that lives on 37th 8-900 block I believe, and is named “Reggie” has been notorious for numerous break ins and thefts especially tool/ she’s thefts from 37th at all the way down to 21st. Apparently he goes around asking people if they need their lawns cut and scopes things out that way. Also I was told that he generally does this during the daytime when most people are at work or real late at night. Hope this helps
Brandon Does Reggie have Dreadlocks and is Black? I saw him cut grass today but didnt ask his name? Good thing Ive got a pit bull I told him where my house was to cut grass but I was walking my dog and he looked at her cautiously?
1) Sounds like someone might have taken advantage of the streetlights being out last night. 2) What time range are we talking about? I was near that parking lot a few times last night and saw people there, in and out. 3) What did the vehicle look like that was broken into?
Thanks, Jess, but the break in happened Monday evening.
Wish I could have helped! 🙁
