“Union Market is much more than the sum of its parts”

Union Market gets good words in a review in the RTD by their newish food reviewer Marissa Hermanson:
Half grocery and half sandwich shop, Union Market is much more than the sum of its parts. […] Union Market fills a void in many capacities for Union Hill — upcoming sandwich shop and bar, specialty food store, grocery for everyday items, and particularly a place where neighbors gather together.

Such a great addition to the neighborhood – good sandwiches and they carry Irish butter! Thanks, Union Market!
Congrats to Shawn, Vivian, and Hunter!
Kudos!
Their chicken salad sandwich is an offer I can’t refuse.
3 out of 4? The four star review only needed three words: Chicken Tarragon Sandwich.
Union Market has had a distinct and undeniably positive effect on our neighborhood. It has created foot traffic, provided a venue for meetings of all kinds, and simply seems to emanate a kind of positive energy. It represents so many of the great things that are happening here, and we’re lucky (& spoiled) to have ’em!
I can only imagine UMkt lost a star due to a shameful lack of beer banners, neon lights, CRT TVs, smoking, sketchy old dudes perched at the bar, frozen fried “food” and it being a biker hangout.
