Sincerity on 21st Street
“Sincerity”, an appropriately named show of works on paper by 6 local artists, turned a house on 21st Street into a simple gallery for a few hours last night. With the city skyline as a backdrop out the back window, this living room became a great spot to see art in a very personal setting and meet the folks making the pieces.
The participating artists were Brandon Robertson, Erin Householder, Emily King, Megan Zalecki, Kristin DeMarco, and Kelsey Cappiello.
Organized by Kristin DeMarco and Timothy Hatton, “Sincerity” was the most recent in a handful of similar shows, with previous events in the Fan area. A wall of words on the way in said that they’ve got plans for “a website, a physical publication, & critical programming”, with hopes to move into a permanent space.
